Introducing the Swift Adirondack Pack Canoe - New for 2010

Swift has developed a line of Pack Canoes that are styled off our popular Adirondack kayaks. The Adirondack Pack Canoes are lightweight, beautiful, offer great paddling performance and kayak like comfort! They are finished with our Carbon Kevlar Trim, Comfort Flex Kayak Seat and Kayak Foot braces. While they are referred to as ‘Pack Canoes’ in the Paddlesports industry, most of the paddlers who use them, paddle them in a low seated position with a kayak paddle.

Solo Paddling Clinics at the Outdoor Adventure Show

There are lots of options out there for Solo paddlers. Which is right for you?
Skip Taylor will be in the pool at the show to answer that question. He will be demonstrating and talking about Solo paddling in Tandem, Solo and Pack Canoes. He will be discussing the pros and con's of each and give you all of the information you'll need to decide which is the best choice for you based on your paddling and tripping style.


You'll find Skip in the pool on Friday at 3pm, and Saturday at 10am and 5pm.
If you miss the demo or have questions afterward, stop by the booth and talk to Skip - he loves to talk paddling!

Do you Erg?

Erg rowing is a great overall fitness activity and an excellent way for rowers and paddlers to keep shape during the off season!

Swift Outdoor Centre will have a booth at the Canadian Indoor Rowing Championships at the Hershey Centre in Mississauga this Sunday, February 7th. The Competition is on Concept 2 erg machines. Stop by and check it out and have a look at our Alden Rowing Shells!
